From front desk and concierge duties to bartending and barista skills, she brought finesse and grace to every role. Beyond her hospitality prowess, Kelsey fearlessly navigated advanced hotel systems, streamlining operations with tech expertise. Yet, her true brilliance shone in ROAKs (Random Acts of Kindness), where she personalized experiences for guests, adorning rooms, serenading birthdays, and surprising with favorite treats. Front Desk/Concierge

As the front desk point of contact for the artsy clients at CitizenM Times Square, Kelsey adeptly used the Amadeus systems for seamless check-ins, managing reservations, and addressing various requests. With a warm smile and attentive demeanor, she ensures each guest feels at home, leaving with a positive impression. At the helm of Times Square, Kelsey Youmans, a revered concierge in bustling New York City, navigates its streets with unwavering commitment. Her knowledge of the city and attention to detail exceed luxury expectations, creating unparalleled experiences for elite clientele. What sets her apart is a genuine connection with each client, making her not just a concierge but a trusted confidante. In a city that never sleeps, Kelsey shines as a guardian of luxury, painting the town with vibrant hues of enchantment.

Food & Beverage                        

Food and beverage run deep in Kelsey's bones, so naturally, she was thrilled to embark on her journey with CitizenM. She eagerly undertook an extensive training course to become a skilled bartender and even attended Barista school at The Coffee Project in New York. Throughout her time with CitizenM, Kelsey not only wore many hats but also tended bar, showcasing her talent for curating craft cocktails tailored to her guests' preferences. Even to this day, Kelsey revels in the joy of perfecting her bartending skills, embodying her passion for the art of mixology.

General Operations

In line with CitizenM's distinctive approach of cross-training all ambassadors, acquiring comprehensive knowledge about every aspect of the property and the brand's culture was a priority. This entailed Kelsey becoming familiar with all hotel operating teams, spanning food & beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance. Beyond ensuring the seamless functioning of the hotel on all fronts, Kelsey consistently went the extra mile to enhance guest satisfaction and served as a positive influence on her fellow colleagues.

Events         

For the past five years, Kelsey Youmans has had the privilege of collaborating with the highly acclaimed photographer Lex Barberio, curating breathtaking exhibitions at prestigious New York venues. The inaugural exhibition at CitizenM Hotel, for which Kelsey secured sponsors, provided a platform to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. The event garnered tremendous success, with numerous photography purchases and media coverage highlighting its achievements. In addition to this event, Kelsey worked various other events at the property including Sofar Sounds, corporate conferences, and milestone parties. 

Personal Touch

In continuing overall hotel operations, Kelsey carved out a niche in creating memorable experiences through RAOKs (random acts of kindness) to personalize each guest's stay. Guests celebrating special occasions received personalized notes extending a warm welcome to the hotel. Kelsey seized every opportunity to make guests feel exceptional, whether through heartfelt notes, engaging song and dance, or thoughtful gestures like monogrammed tennis balls for couples celebrating their wedding on a tennis court.
